BJJ is one of those funny things in life, as soon as you touch it, your life changes. It truly is amazing. Before I started participating in this fruitful art I was no where in life; I had no goals, I was stuck living within past memories of military service, and needless to say I felt like I was deserving of more than what I earned.
The first time I touched that mat, I was filled with love and compassion, not just with the art but for myself.

This was the challenge I needed in my life!

The daily struggle and grind that comes with hard work, commitment, and most importantly failure. I started by learning about myself, more and more everyday on this mat, and in turn that transferred off the mat.


I'm a different man now from who I was when I started Brazillian Jiu Jitsu. A better, stronger, more inciteful, more driven man. There are a ton of coincidences that have led me to this point, but maybe, just maybe, these Blue Belt Blues were meant to be experienced
