Lloyd 'Albie' McKinney put me to sleep today when rolling at Ironworks Training Center.
His choke was tight...lights got dim...I tapped then started chugging. There was a ringing of bells then...BLACKOUT.
Next thing I know his ugly mug was staring down at me and he said, "Oh shit coach! You all right?"
Grasping for reality I replied, "What happened?"
That little puke erased five seconds of my memory. He robbed from me a few moments of my life. Given a chance, I think he would have taken my soul....and I can not tell you how PROUD I AM that sent me the spirit world!
Albie may have ears that stick out a bit too far...he may have hideous scars on his baby-face...even his pants hang off his boney hips from cutting weight. His body is proof of a hard training camp. And speaking from experience, he is a nightmare to wake up to after he chokes you out.
Albie is ready to rumble. I am honored and humbled to have helped him prepare for this fight . He is a leader in our Ironworks family. He is a good mentor/coach to my son Jude. I am proud to call him my friend and brother. Get some Albie. You are ready.
